The Lower Niobrara Natural Resources District (LNNRD) serves Boyd County and portions of Holt, Knox, Keya Paha, and Rock Counties in north-central Nebraska. The District covers approximately 1.7 million acres, including about 238,000 irrigated acres, and is divided into eight subdistricts that represent the region’s diverse geography and land use.
