Weather Station
Naper site now on both the Nebraska Mesonet and Cropwatch site. Mesonet stations are equipped to observe hourly conditions for the following variable: air temperature, humidity, liquid precipitation, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, barometric pressure, soil temperature and soil moisture.
Nebraska Mesonet allows users to see real-time weather condition as well as historical data. Through the real-time maps tab you are able to view maps showing the following conditions: temperature, due point, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, wind gust, and precipitation. Daily maps allows you to view historical weather data as well as soil temperature and moisture and variable depths.
Cropwatch is UNL’s crop and climate website offering access to a multitude of resources. Users are given access to state wide ET Rates, drought resources, precipitation summaries, and much more.
