Nebraska Revised Statute 13-406 Compliance Statement

In accordance with Nebraska Revised Statute § 13-406, the Lower Niobrara Natural Resources District (LNNRD) provides the following disclosure regarding membership dues and lobbying services:

The Lower Niobrara NRD is a political subdivision of the State of Nebraska and therefore complies with all disclosure requirements outlined in § 13-406.
This statute requires political subdivisions to publicly disclose the following information each fiscal year:

  1. Membership Dues:
A listing of all membership dues paid to associations or organizations, including the name of each entity and the amount paid.
  2. Lobbying Services:
Disclosure of any fees paid to individual lobbyists or lobbying firms, unless such fees are included as part of the membership dues listed above.

The Lower Niobrara NRD pays annual membership dues to organizations that provide representation, education, and advocacy for natural resources districts across Nebraska. These dues may include fees for lobbying services on behalf of the NRDs.

All required disclosures are available for public review at the Lower Niobrara NRD office during regular business hours, and a summary of membership dues and lobbying service expenditures will be updated and posted annually on this website in accordance with state law.
